sony xperia walkman software problem

Hi all, new here.

I have a problem with my sony xperia music and sounds!

I have showing on the walkman software music files but unable to delete them or play them

the phone states 'cannot play track, ok'

go into my music and click on albums, then click and hold an album, then delete, confoirm delete. But it does not delete it is still showing.

also if I use these music file for sounds ie ringtones it shows it being used but there is no sound as files are not there?

Any help please

Try clearing data for the app called Media Storage under Settings -> Apps -> All and then restart the phone and see if that helps. Please note that it might take a while before you can see all your media after the restart of the phone.
