Sony Xperia TIPO Single Sim

Ok i bought Sony Xperia Tipo on 19-09-2012 for Rs.9931/-

This is my Third Complain regarding this handset.

SO lets start with my Queries :-

1. When i Make a call through my Handsfree i get to hear my voice myself in the earphones, i reported about this issue at the service centre Last month but they said this is not a problem and told me i will get this echo or anything you say ? Well seriously is that an answer? No other Handset has such feature of hearing your own voice during any call anyhow or even when you bring the handfree near to your mouth

2. When i play any songs in my cellphone then there is no Bass in the headphones, i tried to plug in my handsfree in other phones and it works like a charm but with this handset there is no BASS.

3. When i try to update the FACEBOOK TIMESCAPE then i get the error COULD NOT UPDATE FROM FACEBOOK now and then even when the internet connection is good enough.

Ok so let me know what to do because i am really fed up of all these issues. They are the basic functions of a smartphones and they are not working nicely which is giving me enough pain cause i paid almost Rs. 10000 for this handset.

You can check with the Sony Xperia Support and you can see that i have made complain for these issues TWICE already on the tollfree no. which is given by the Service Centre. When i visit the Service Centre then they just play around and all the issues Stays there.

SO this time i need a proper functionality of my handset or my money back.

So many issues and no solution is not a Deal. I have the emails of the Local Care Support also they told me to go to service centre but the service centre people can do nothing. I visit the service centre located in DISTRICT CENTRE at SUNEJA TOWER

1-3. Those problem is known as "echo problem" and "Timescape problem" in this forum.

2. It's a unknow problem, congratulations...

In February, Sony has acknowledged the error. Since then, I'm waiting for a software update.

As shark473 says, 1 and 3 are known problems and will be solved in upcoming updates.

Regarding problem 2 i would start by checking the equalizer if you haven't done so already and also try a Sony handsfree if you're using a 3:rd party handsfree. If the problem occurs with a Sony handsfree i recommend that you contact your local Sony Xperia support for assistance with repairs.

I am using the original Sony Xperia Tipo Handsfree which i got with the handset but thing is if i use this handsfree with other phones like Iphone or Samsung phones it works like a charm and also bass is good enough but while using it with TIPO its not upto standards. Settings are all normal.

By when i there would be an update to the problems any idea? how long do i need to wait to get it done

Today i updated my Phone via PC COMPANION to build number 11.0.A.4.27 and i found out that the facebook problem is gone but the echo issue is still there. Do i need to wait for more updates or this was the the update you were talking about Mr.Rickard ??

Glad to hear that Facebook works now.

Unfortunately i don't have any date for when the update that solves the echo problem will be released.
