Sony xperia tipo keeps restarting over and over again.

Hi, my sony xperia tipo keeps restarting and restarting and restarting, safemode does not work.

Running a software reinstall using SUS does NOT work.

Once the phone is started, i have about 3 seconds to do anything at all, after those 3 seconds, the phone freezes and restarts. And this is basicly what is happening, and i has been happening for several days now.

I have had the phone for almost 6 months, and i have been carefull with it. Only applications i have installed is swedbank and bankid + those applications that is standard since the start.

I would like some help please, this is getting annoying.

Also, i didnt know which phone i should choose since I cant find it in the list of phones..

This one it is http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/phones/xperia-tipo-dual/#black

I do not have the box anymore, so i cant check the name..

Sounds like a hardware issue which only gives you two options - Return it to the place of purchase or contact your local Xperia care team http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

I do think that there is a problem with the phone it self.

My brother installed an app for it, and it freezed.

Now when we start it, the app is still "installing".

This might be what is causing it to restart.

You may need to perform a system repair but back up all your files first

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

The phone has to be on in order to do any of that. Which is not possible since it restarts after about 3 seconds.

Your phone does not need to be on to run a system repair - If you follow the guide above it will run a repair

The program tells me that the phone is not connected.
