Sony Xperia SP Reboot Loop

I have not had any problems aside from the 4.3 common issues until yesterday.

I put my phone into power saving and stamina mode, it was at 3 percent when I put it on the charger and in the morning it was the same. Taking the charger out and putting back in started a Sony logo rebooting cycle.

Attempted the usual comments, off button under battery cover, vol down+ power button. None has helped. I am on a trip in a foreign country without access to a PC.

are there any solutions that do not have android relying on a PC (which it aims to replace) in order to fix this. Thanks in advance

Do this: remove the SIM card, connect it to wall socket and charge it for at least 2 hours. After that, force it to turn off with the button on the back and turn it on normally.

Hi Alexdon,

Went with your suggestion but it did not work. Phone cannot power on at all off of the charger, while plugged it continues to do the sony loop and the illumination bar stays red. Attempted voldwn+power and also softpress off button in the back. This phone was working perfectly fine before i enabled the power saving options. Any other suggestions?

See its common for the loop to happen when you try to turn on the phone immediately after you connect it to the charger
Wait for the phone to charge up for some time and then try turning it on......
Hope this helps.....
Really concerning that so many SPS getting screwed up now and then....

Hi Nikhil,

Unfortunately the phone does not stay off. As soon as i plug in the charger it starts the reboot loop without any input on my part. I have not been able to turn it off completely through any methods.
