Sony xperia SP problems after recent update

Hi

About 4 days ago i had a software update on my phone via the update centre, since then i have been having the following problems with my phone and dont know what to do?

1. Screen flickers all the time

2. Battery is drained

3. Phone heats up whilst charging or watching something (im pretty sure this is not suppose to happen)

4. waiting ages to open files or apps - its become even more slow than before

5. phone freezes all the time

6. when pressing the "on" button phone sometimes doest come on, i have to press it a couple of times

7. some of my features are missing e.g. screen shot functionality is no longer available

8. the screen sensitivity is really bad e.g. when im trying to unlock my phone i have to do it a couple of times

Having a read through most of the coments it looks like alot of people are having similiar problems.

If the software hasnt been fully testd or bugs have not been fixed then why release the software update causing more problems.

Can some please help me or advise me of what is going on and what i need to do?

You're not alone.

Reinstalling with SUS may solve some issues, but the flickering screen is a well known issue. See here:

Yep. It's like Sony want to save a bit of money and get their customers to do the testing.

thanks for all the above info i tried it and my phone seems to be much better. no luck with the flickering screen though
