sony xperia sp lag

i've had my xperia less than a month and already i am having problems for starters each time i download an app the phone gets slower and starts lagging. secondly my phone keeps disconnecting the wifi and i am constantly having to reconnect it and thirdly its being really slow and its taking ages for apps to load and the apps on my phone have also started crashing. and yes i have the latest software i check regularly to see if i have the latest software. is there anything i can do to stop it from being slow and lagging/crashing without rooting it. this started happening a few days after i got the phone and i thought it might be a bit slow at first and faster as i start using it more it'll get better. please help dont want to have to return the phone.

Restart your phone regularly,it will refresh RAM memory and make the phone smoother.Do not use task killers,battery savers.
