Sony Xperia SP hangs

Hello!

I have my Sony XPeria SP for 4 months. It is a very good smartphone and it is not a patch on iPhone. But since then, I have the problem that it hangs sometimes when I open any app. It doesn't react and I have to wait until the battery is flat... Most of the time, it didn't take so long because I had had 5 or 6% before it was frozen but now my handy is frozen again and it has 94%, so maybe I have to wait the whole day until it works again... I also tried to press the power button and to hold it for 15 seconds but it still doesn't react and now I am so desperated...

Does somebody has an idea what this problem might be and what I can do that my SP works and that this problem never happens again??

Download sony update service, make sure your phone has at least 50% battery and repair phone software.

It's a shame that the 4.3 update made a good phone bad. Now every single app takes a lot of time to start up just like a cheap android phone with 512mb ram and weak A7 processor. I am also facing occasional app hanging problem but not as much as you, which never happened in 4.1.2. Sony, just look at how much posting is in Xperia SP section(>18000) and think what have you done with the update.

Go back to 4.1.2, the best thing to do now

Try the small button when u remove cover its under the battery( hold it untill you get 3 vibrates and then power on back with power button..).... but i suggest you to flash 4.1.2  Winking_Face

Ya its worked.....a small yellow colour button present below the battery cover ( you will find it, after removing the back cover of the phone). if u press it continuosly, it will give 3 vibration indication. After that, u switch on the mobile as usual type by pressing the power button.... Thanks to previous Replier for giving this valuable Solution.....:smileyhappy::smileyhappy::smileyhappy:

And from there your journey for Xperia service centre continues , until you throw the phone Face_with_rolling_Eyes

It's due to our new OS update by Sony, full of bugs. The Android OS 4.3 version Jelly Bean is full of bugs. You'll have to wait until you get a new update for your device. I have this problem too, my RAM runs at 200MB and 150MB average. It's very slow and the multi touch doesn't work. There are few bug reports that Sony needs to fix. But since our device is under investigation, we can't really be sure whether we would get this update or not. Hit kudo if helped you.
