Sony Xperia S

Hi

I bought an Xperia S from a friend a few weeks ago an feverything was working perfect until 2 days ago where it just crashed and died. i looked at a selection of forums and tried everything that was said to work. i triied holding the up button and power button at the same time and no luck. there were no vibrations at all, although the red light come on alright when plugged into a power source. i connected it to the computer and it didnt even recognise the phone at all. i rely on this phone and need to atleast recover family photos and moments. i have checked on the sony page and unfortunaetly the warranty ranout on the 5th of this month. is there any other options/solutions, would be much appreciated thank you.

Been using my xperia SP for some time now, all good. till yesterday all of a sudden it shut down at 64% and restarted, i hadnt relised it had restarted as the screen was just black and no signs of display, then a text came through and the LED bar started flashing. I then  pressed the power button and saw that the backlight was on and that the digitizer still works as i could hear key presses from when i touch the screen. i tried SUS and PC companion to repair and update the device, i tried the volume up and power button at the same time several times and still no luck. is there any solution for this as i need a smart phone and really like this one. HELP!

Bring it back to the shop you bought it from? It's a hardware problem. (since you tried SUS and PCC)

I have no idea one day working fine, the next the phone is just black. The backlightvworks work and the digitizer does to as you can tap and hear sounds. I tried repairing it through Pc companion and SUS no luck. Im not sure if it's still under warranty or the history of this phone as I Boughton off a friends friend.
