Sony Xperia S - Microphone issue

HI! The microphone of mi phone is not working. If I dont use hang free I cant speak with nobody.

I gave my phone to repair to my company of phone. And they said " UNREPAIRABLE"

I updated android AND still not working.

Is possible change the michophone?

Im from argentina. 

What can i DO?

You can test the microphone by downloading the Xperia Diagnostics application from Google Play store.

If it fails it needs to be fixed at a repair center.

You mentioned you have already been in touch with your repair center and they say that's not possible, didn't they say why?

I downloaded the program, I executed all test, with these observations:

- The sound is very weak for the headset.

- The microphone is fine.

What do you recommend to maximize the performance of microphone and the headset.

I'm sorry but now you got me confused.

So the microphone wasn't the problem in the first case? Is it a problem with microphone when you're using a headset? If yes, try using another headset and check if you can rule out the problem.

Is very rear the problem. I test the microphone and this is OK.

But when speak with somebody; sometimes nobody can listen me or heard me very down.

What can I do?

Well if the microphone sounds OK when running the test the problem is most likely the network. Try changing the SIM card or contact your network operator to check this.
