Sony XPeria P SIM Tray has been broken ... n is not replaceable? WHY? Why

I inserted the SIM in reverse direction and suddenly SIM Tray from inside has been broken and NOW any Sim is not working in it. and When I visited Service centres they told me that SIM TRAY is not replaceable due to technical specifications (it is attached with motherboard) and NOW I NEED  TO REPLACE THE MOTHERBOARD of the handset . 

Motherboard cost  :  Rs. 19,000/- appx. 

Handset cost         :  Rs. 20,000/- 

The Phone is under warranty.  HOW COMES IT POSSIBLE ? repair charhges Rs. 19,000/-

The motherboard its the most expensive part of the phone, it has the cpu, ram, etc integrated.

u can give it to local shops i got mine repaired for 1600 rs.the sim tray pins broke because i was using the nanosim with adaptor..
