sony xperia p hanging up

I've had my Sony xperia p for bout a year now, & ever since I got it, it will hang up during phone calls. It is really frustrating, I cannot make important calls & friends & family are annoyed with it. I have tried holding phone away from face, in case I'm accidentally touching something on screen, even loud speaker but it still does it. I LOVE my phone except this is driving me crazy. Any help?

Until now,have you repaired your phone's software?I think it is the time for a repair and a factory settings reset.

repair your device with SUS http://www.sonymobile.com/in/tools/update-service/ with full factory reset and remember factory reset deletes all your apps and contacts, msgs etc ,, so do a back up and try !!
