Sony Xperia M Notification light keeps glowing.

I dropped my handset into water recently, and knowing the fact that it would get damaged, I dried it up and fascinatingly it worked. But, I saw a dim notification light always glowing. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem?

Yea, even if I turn it off. The light responds to other notification,but after few seconds, the same continues.
