I have the same issue, the phone is hanging in the Charging Screen.

shutting down is impossible, When removing the battery it shuts down, but when starting it up it resumes in the same Charing mode.

It will not go into Save mode and it can not be "discovered" by the Pc SW

Pls Help ?????

The phone is still in Warranty so we expect some help of another solution to be able to use this Sony product.

Kind regards,

Just do a pc companion repair.... Disable all Facebook apps check free ram....mine was also laging at first.......
Oh! and also disable that extended standby mode.........which should stop wake up lag

when starting up the phone it shows the nokia and the Xperia screens and then freezes in the display of the moving northernlight.

Then it doesn't react anymore until I remove the battery.

the PC doesn't recognise the phone beeing plugged in. So I would need a way to force a hardware reset.

Xperia e dual SIM had android 4.0 which requires less ram to run whereas single SIM came preinstalled with 4.1 and it also was badly programmed...... There is a new update coming wait for it....
