Sony Xperia C5 Ultra bentgate. HELP ME PLS

Hi guys,

my phone (which is not even a week old) got bent by carrying it in my pocket.

I just want to get it repaired but Sony Hong Kong support is not caring about anything.

This phone got manufactured in Hong Kong (C5 Ultra Dual), so it has to get repaired there.

But they just won't talk to me or answer any question or answer any repair request.

They just say that i should contact the UK support wich says that i should contact the HK support.

Could you guys help me get this phone repaired?

If someone finds a frame for this phone i would be pleased!

I would repair it myself. Since Sony is not caring.

Sorry to see that your phone has been bent Slightly_frowning_Face

For warranty and repairs i recommend that you contact the Local support in the country where the phone was originally sold (not manufactured). However, when a phone has been bent like that, it's possible that repairs could cost more than a new phone depending on which parts that needs to be replaced and when shipping and repair costs are included.

I did contact the UK support like 5 times. They said i should contact the country where it was manufactured (HK).

HK is not interested in helping me by completely ignoring my messages (chat and emails).

Great. So I bought this phone 5 days ago, it has bent because of its poor build quality and I should buy a new one.

Does anyone have a mule who sh*** gold?

Thx Sony.

This was the last time i bought a phone from you.

No one is interested in helping me.

No one is caring.

"Just buy a new Phone"

I'm out.

I'm sorry to hear that and i do understand your frustration but looking at the pictures you posted i really can't see how that could have been caused by a manufacturing defect. But the authorized service location will of course investigate the damage and what might have caused it. If the reason found is a manufacturing defect it's of course covered by warranty.

I've only been able to find one email sent to the support in HK from the email address you use here on the forum. This email was sent yesterday and it looks like the have sent you a reply today. As i understand their reply, they can help you as long has you have the original receipt from the dealer who sold the phone in HK and the phone is still within warranty.
