Well i am starting this discussion because i am very unhappy with Sony Support.
The first thing that i noticed in this forum is the insufficient answers of moderators/super users and official support members. For example, the most moderators says to use the PCC in order to repair a problem, but in the most cases the solution is much easier.( i think that some of the moderators they have no idea how to fix a problem, they just repost the same answer everywhere)
Another thing, that disappoint many people is the Android 4 support. At first, Sony said that the ICS update will arrive mid-April. Then they said about second week of June, and there is still no update. The problem is not the delay of ICS but the answers of Support team. Although some of them they say that the problem is the overloaded servers, while some other say that this delay is because from providers. We will appreciate if you would tell us "There are some bugs that we have to fix and we will release it in September," rather to give us childish answers.
As company, except the product, you have to give support. I am very unpleased with this situation. If you want to keep your costumers you have to do something to improve the support.
Have you contacted Customer Service?

I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

That was the first think that i have done. Its exactly the same situation like here. Same insufficient answers.
I am not the only who believe that there "is no" support from sony...
believe me you are not
I saw somewhere a new excuse, something about phones having problem recieving updates... plz...
I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way. I try my best to help our users.
Repairing/reinstalling the software is a good start in troubleshooting because then you have a fresh system and can rule out problems. But if a users states that he/she already have performed a software repair/reinstall I do not tell them to do it again.
The problem with updating to ICS if your SI number is listed for the update have been located and will be fixed as soon as possible. If your SI is not listed you will not be able to update to ICS officially yet. The delay for this depends on software customization and operator branding.
The communicated estimated times for ICS have always been for beginning of roll out never for when all devices will have ICS.
I am just telling these issues in order to improve your support.
I didnt said these things to offend you.
