I have recently found a game on the Google Play Store in which I would like to install, I installed it and it asked to free up some more memory as it needed to download extra files. The app installer was 648mb and it requires another 700mb for the additional files. In which I was short of 416mb, I then tried to free up some memory by putting all of my pictures, music and videos onto my Computer, However when viewing the Storage in my phone settings it shows that there is 1.01gb of pictures on my internal memory but when i tap on it to view the files there are only four pictures which came with the device being a total of all four of about 400mb I have restarted my phone and unmounted the SD card but it still shows the same 1.01gb of pictures. I have also deleted all of the useless files added from other apps and shows via my Computer that there is enough spare space but my phone space doesn't change. Is there something I need to do to retrieve that space or to get it to show the correct file sizes?
Either the phone sees some other kind of files on the internal memory as pictures or there must be some kind of glitch. Copy you important files and info and format the memory and check if it helps. If not I think that you will have to reinstall the phone software using SUS.
