Sony smartband and the function that I look forward to seeing

I think the Sony smartband need to have a power nap function and manual sleep set up because I've ever used Jawbone up24 I love those functions they gave me for a good nap every day. Sometimes I forgot to change mode to night mode, but I could add manual sleep in the application.

Two last things I look forward to seeing in the next version Lifelog are the lag time of sync should be better. Because this version I think sometimes it delay more than 4 hrs.
the last Activities alert function such as.... Vibrate when you are sitting or resting the body more than 15 mins for movement or vibrate for drinking water to remind yourself to drink a plenty of water because nowadays many people neckless to drink water during the day

Yes the time lag between doing the steps and all the steps registering is a little annoying. Plus it is giving the smartband a poor reputation regarding accuracy. In reality it does seem to be quite accurate but you have to wait for the steps to appear.

Hello all,

as a owner of a Smartband, I would like to complete Kanut's feedback, and confirm that a nap function would be very appreciated. The sleep analysis and the smart wake up were the key features for me, and I would be really happy that they could be extended by software updates.

Another feedback I would like to send to Sony's engineering and marketing team was the very cleaver division of features between the three apps : Smart Access, Smartband and Lifelog.
This division allows a use of the Smartband without sending personal data to the cloud: smart wake up, notifications, phone control, etc. And the functions that require an analysis and a presentation of personal data are in Lifelog, in which you can decide what data you want to transfer to the cloud.
In fact, I can't really check that the data sent to the cloud is only the data I decided to show in my Lifelog, and not the whole data collected by Lifelog (phone use and Smartband logs)... But at least, I know there is a way to use the Smartband with a real control of data: I can decide to stop using Lifelog, but still having access to the other features of the Smartband.
This is a good job, and this is why I bought a Sony rather than another one!
(Despite the lack of nap functionality...)

I hope this could help for next versions.
Keep making great apps and devices!
