Sony Shirks Responsibility

In April 2015 I upgraded my handset to a Z3 Compact. Within three weeks I discovered that the phone is faulty. I contacted Sony online, and the gave me a software fix to try. It did not work. I returned the phone to the supplier who sent it for repair. It came back ten days later, still faulty. I contacted Sony again. They said they would investigate. They declared the phone not faulty and closed the case. My phone has been with the supplier a second time for repair, for a month and the matter remains unresolved. My local service centre tested the phone and testified in writing that it is still faulty. Both Vodacom and Sony are shirking responsibility and are not agreeing to adequately repair or replace the phone. I have reported the matter to the Consumer Goods & Services Ombudsman and the National Consumer Commission. I have posted on Vodacom and Sony Facebook walls, and submitted complaint reports to Hello Peter.  This is unacceptible.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I suggest that you raise this with your local support team to check status and how to proceed with this in the best possible way, as it's hard for me to add anything without seeing this specific case.
