Sony Privelege Movies Download

Hi -

I think you have a lousy app in Privilege Movies. After I redeem the code and download the movie, (all 1.2 GB of it), it says cannot play, delete it and redownlaod it. Not sure which world you guys live in but we all have download limits and it takes about 3 hours to download a single movie. It isa good thing I got a taste of this when the movies are free. I am never going to buy another sony product again.

Pls believe me, you have nothing that you can do to help me. Just delete this app and help the rest of the users..and if possible pls fire the guy who made this app..

Movies download fine for me then all I have to do is open Movies and tap to play - If you have downloaded the movie then transfered it to a SD card then no it won't play and give an error

Hi -

When I try to download, it asks me if I want to download to Internal Storage or SD card. I selected Elyssium and downloaded to SD card. After 4 hours, the download was complete and when I hit play it did not open. It gave me a very "Helpful message" to delete and redownload the movie. So I did it again to SD card. After four hours (I have a 25mbps connection) the download is completed and I hit play. This time the movie plays. So I go ahead and download the next video. Again after 6 hrs I get the same error. I am doing nothing for the whole time the movie was downloading. My phone is stock and not rooted or anything.  So does that mean I have to download everytime movie twice? I am not convinced that downloading a second time will help. What if it gives me an error again and tells me to download again? 

I have never seen any app that is so bug ridden. Like I said, it is not helpful to suggest "Delete and redownload". It is like the suggestions I see on this forum which says - reset the device using PCC or SUS. That is not a suggestion at all.

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with the movies.

Hard to say for sure but it sounds like either the file is corrupted during download or when it's stored. I suggest that you try downloading them using another internet connection (i recommend that you use WiFi) and that you try storing it to the internal storage or another SD card.
