Sony PC Companion application not installed...

Everytime I click on start on any of the features of the  sony pc companion, I get a dialogue box saying application not installed, please try after some time. So I uninstalled it and when i tried to install it again from the phone it said the same. So i downloaded it from the sony site and the installation was successful but the features are not updating. Please help.:smileyconfused:

what do you mean with "but the features are not updating"?

what operating system do you have on your computer?

If you need to look for firmware updates you can use SUS instead of PC companion

Make sure that you have the latest version of Java installed and that your firewall isn't blocking the download of all the plug-ins you try to run.
