Sony Erricson Satio U1 not powering on

Satio not powering on. I have tried 2 different chargers but the phone fails to turn on. The red light flashes a few times but nothing happens. I've left the phone to charge for 2-3 hours also. Could it possibly need a software update?

I suggest that you remove the battery from the phone for a while. Put it back and charge the phone for at least 4 hours. 

If the phone still doesn't start you could try to update/repair the phone software using the program Update Service:
