to me 4.1 is be better than gb. i did try a few aosp jb roms, and they were smoooooth!

also jb has project butter, that may be the actaul reason jb is smooth.

i also hope SONY will provide this update.

i have been using sony phones for eight years (i'm twelve), since i got my first phone- a walkman phone.i always recommeded sony to my friends and family. and i hope that sony won't disappoint 2011 device's owners- they did once already :"(

Developers in Sony probably build (or try to build) JB for 2011 devices.

Why in Emma we still have only GB?

Why not ICS and JB too?

Sony decide to not updating to JB 2011 devices. But this decision was given to us late. I think Sony start working on JB for 2011 or finish work on it with success or partly successful.

Sony is talking about supporting community so why we still behind, e.g. Samsung mini 2 (unthinkable)?

Think open source kernel 3.x for 2011 will be best way to show us their engagement in supporting community.

Sony just wants to promote their new 2012 Xperias and upcomming 2013 devices.

It is a simple management decision and has nothing to do with hardware or software compatibility that 2011 Xperias won't be updated to Android 4.1 JB.

Most 2011 devices already run on Android 4.0 ICS. But in fact ICS is full of bugs and does not work as intended.

I'm not interested in Jelly Bean! Sony should focus on a stable and functional version of ICS instead... that's what I paid for!
