Sony Ericsson WT19i - media volume level problem

The problem with my Sony Ericsson WT19i is that the media volume level problem at some point, is maxed. I set the media level to 3, but after some minutes or even longer, few hours or in the morning the level is at 15 (max). I set level to 8, was listening to mp3 and after some time it almost hurt my ears because in middle of the songs it increased to max - that was very unpleasant.

I can find any option or application that is doing that. I didn't reset my device because i havent' rooted it and can make a backup and don't want to restore to zero because i have many applications and settings already set up.

EDIT: this is happening when the XLOUD options is unchecked. Last night i've turn it on, and the volume didn't maxed up. This is not acceptable because xloud is for me not necessary and too loud.

Assuming there isn't a physical problem with the volume key and considering (of course) there is no setting in the phone to do this, a reset/update looks to be your only option.

As a test, you could try a different player application from the Android market, to see if the problem is specific to the OS itself, however regardless of the outcome, an update is still needed if you wish to use the built in player.

Mobile phone is new, didn't fall on the floor or somethinh to think it it physical problem. And when i use it, if the button increases the level, i would see the popup notification that the level has increased, but i didn't see any. Just felt/heard the sound is suddenly at max.

This problem is not only with the specific player, because the volume media level , the setting ITSELF goes to max.

Which app, player, ring notification uses the media sound - it plays it at max level. It happened many times, and not only with SE player.

Now, few weeks had passed, and this problem didn't occur, because i checked the XLOUD option.
