sony ericsson W8 E16i internet connection problem

Dear All,

Please help me with this.

I have been facing this problem from last four days. I have tried everything but the phone is not connecting to internet.

Asked my service provider to give new setting for internet but even after changing the setting i am still facing this problem.

I have checked internet connecticvity with the same sim card in other smart phones and it is working all well.

I donot understand what is the problem? Even removed the antivirus software.

It would be a great help if anyone can help ASAP........

Have you tried another SIM card in the handset?

I know you have checked the SIM card you have in other devices however this does not tell us that it is related to phone or SIM. So try using another SIM card within the W8 handset.

Thanks for your reply.

It is not SIM issue for sure..

I called up Sony support (helpline ) number.

The representative told me to do factory reset for the phone which I did with the back up first.

Now it is all working great.
