sony ericsson W8 E16i got some problem

i have some problem in my phone

sony ericsson W8 E16i

this is my old phone since 2010. 

it happens last week that my phone is experiencing infinite restart loop.

i tried to change battery (bought a new one) but its still restarting..

i went on mall and find some cellphone technician, they said my phone

needs to have a software update. and they wanted me to pay them for a big amout of money if thats my case is true base on what they said, can you give me a link or website on how to downloasd a program for mr to manually update my mobile software and also some instructions?
