I just bought the Sony Ericsson live, with a 4GB SDcard.. but sometimes when i try to take photos or open my album, i kept on saying, 'no memory card or sd card'.. but the songs are there and i can play it..
Is this a faulty of the card or my phone..?
Any assistant greatly appreciated..
few things go to
settings -> storage -> check if you see "Unmount SD card" if you do then do this
settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> Music (clear everything)
if you don't turn off your phone, take the SD card out, turn it back on w/o the sd card turn it off again, w/o the battery press and hold the power button for couple seconds then put the battery and SD card back on, and check if it works
if that doesn't work you can use Update Service to repair your phone, it might be a software glitch

Installing Avast Free Anti Virus software cured it after a scan. A full factory reset hadn't helped. You can't do a software update without a card successfully installed . The card just unmounted after a few seconds and so did a second card. Avast found no virus on the scan, but it cleared the problem. I saw online that a virus was the only probable option left and to install anti virus software.
Done after 2 hours after trying everything.
