Sony ericsson j10i Elm cannot update, it says client modified

Hello and Good Day.

I have puchased two SE J10i Elm phones, new from boxes. One for me and one for my sister. Several days after purchase, when I use internet with the phone, I used the over the air update service, because it says there's a new software version available. But after the update completed, I found that my widgets are gone, except Calendar and Walk mate Eco. The widget option setting also gone too.

At first the socond phone still got the option, but too, after update on air, it has gone.

I downloaded the latest version of Update Service, but it says my client has been modified? What does it mean? I just bought it several days. From authorized dealer, and two phones became excatly the same after on air update. I don't think I modified the client or something like that?

Please help me with this problem. Or how do I myself reinstall the original firmware, because my in my place there are no Sony Ericsson care center. Thank you very much for your time.

Regarding the missing widgets, first try making a master reset of the phone from Settings -> General -> Master reset -> Reset all. It might be needed to reload the new software.

The message you get in Update Service indicates that someone has changed software in these phones using 3:rd party software (for example changed language or operator branding) or there might be some other problem with the phones. You will need to contact your dealer regarding this.
