Sony Ericcson x8 is bricked,how to fix this without the pcc or se update programs

hi my sony ericcson x8 is stuck on a boot loop/bricked how do i reset my phone ive tried the sony ericcson update tool and pc companion but neither of them are working

this happened because of a recent program install idk,but is this problem covered in warranty as i bought this phone only a few days ago.

take out the sim and sd cards, then try to use Update Service, it should solve the issue

now, where you trying to root or flash your phone with a third party "flasher" or firmware? if you were, you could just re-flash it and it will be fixed

remember that rooting or installing other firmware voids your warranty, but you can always reset it to its original state

How to flash a custom firmware to your X8 with a flash tool

To flash a custom firmware, you need your phone with the latest version of Android 2.1.1, follow the previus steeps to update your phone. When done, follow this steeps.

The great custom firmware for X8 at this moment is Cyanogen Mod

for mini, exist a version with Froyo (2.2), GingerBread (2.3) and HoneyComb (3.0)

With any of this firmwares, you need to update with xRecovery installing update.zip from SD Card

To update, you need:

• The latest firmware 2.1.1
• xRecovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=878426
• The update.zip with the desired firmware

Cyanogen mod firmwares:

• Froyo (Android 2.2) very stable for daily use: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=964223
• GingerBread (Android 2.3) beta: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=973753

To install the custom firmware follow this procedure:

1. Have the battery minimun in 50%
2. Copy update.zip in the root of SD card
3. Boot the phone and enter in xRecovery mode
4. I recomend to perform a backup of you current firmware. To do it, in xRecovery mode go to Backup and restore and select Backup
5. In xRecovery select Install update.zip from SD card to install the new firmware
6. In xRecovery select Factory reset (full wipe)
7. In xRecovery select Reboot and wait for 1 to 5 minutes while new firmware boot the phone

i was trying to use PC companion to repair my x8 when i press the back key while connect USB cable,my computer was not responding and force me to restart the computer...why??

Try using Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) instead Aino™ - Update Service - Downloads - Mobile phones - Support - Sony Ericsson ignore the Aino bit, you select your phone once downloaded and you start running the program.  It is oftern more succesful that PCC.

Pls any1 out dere should save me pls i wanted to help someone update his xperia x8 thru pc companion but wen d updatin was goin on d cable removed and d fone stop any tym u on it it wont on and it ll just dispaly one ? On d screen d owner will soon come 4 it am dead and d bad part is dat d pc companion was unistalled i am stil a student where do i get d money
