sony bridge for mac hangs

Hello,

Every time I connect the sony bridge for mac application , the whole computer is slow down. Everything becomes unresponsive. After opening the console to check errors, I could see the the app. is scanning the whole itunes library, is this the cause of the slowdown, if yes why scanning the whole library???? 

But above all , why sony engineers are not able to produce a descent software??? 

I am not expecting sony bridge for mac to work ever.... as going through the forum it seems to be a lasting problem .

I'm sorry that you're not satisfied with Bridge. A new version will be released any day now that will solve the crash problem.

Yes the new version is more stable, thanks. But the Backup and restore form backup options are still broken and the music transfert is not working yet, music is transfered  but cover or artist name missing....

Hmm that's strange. Could you provide me with your Phone version, build, software version and Mac OSX version please?

How much free memory do you have on your phone? Sometimes that causes the backup option to be unavailable. If your memory is full, you could try deleting some songs, reconnect and see if that brings the backup option back. 

In what format are you transferring your songs?

Do you have a previous backup to restore from?
