Sony Backup & Restore

Cannot back up online, won't sign in, just keeps searching.

It's a z3+, I've correctly signed in and checked everything I can think of.

Can you please advise what Backup function you are referring to? is this through PC Companion or another service?

The backup and restore app that came with the phone, I believe it's from Sony Mobile, I've since backed up locally to Sd card, because it won't sign in for the online way.

That is strange, were you trying to sign in to a Gmail account or was this another type of account, as it is Gmail only.

It's working now, not sure why it didn't before.
