sony acro s restarting

Hi,

I bought my phone a few days ago.

The phone starts and works well in a few minutes. Then the phone will restart. Just today it safely restarted 50 times.

Do you think it is hardware or software? I have tried to factory reset the phone, and add the latest Android available for the phone.

Help, please.

Hey there

Take the sim out of your phone and then use your phone for sometime

See if it restarts again and again

Thanks for the quick reply!

I test it and get back with the results.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the phone will restart even though I removed the sim card.

Go for a software repair

After repairing your phone, don't install any app on your phone ( not even a single app ) but observe the behaviour of your phone

________________________________________________________________

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts, apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

PC Companion http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/pc-companion/

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions

Unfortunately, the problem remains.

treb1120 we have ruled out almost everything. What's left is the hardware

Now you need to go to service center in order to get your phone examined. They would tell you the cause possibly

Hurry. if it's a hardware problem, you could get a replacement (iff your phone is not more than 7 days old )

Again, thanks for your help.
