Some suggestions for future firmware update

I have updated to 5.0.2 yesterday. Here is what I want in future updates.

1. More customizations in themes including icons (let's us apply third party icon packs. I don't want to use 3rd party launcher just for that).

2. Accent color- Let us change the accent color (now blue and orange) separately irrespective of themes (now some application hasn't updated to lollipop app guidelines yet, so it is so ugly to see blue status bar at the top)

3. Font change- Come on, it is a nice feature to have and also very easy to do. At least give us -10 fonts to choose from.

4. Vibration and/or sound when call connects-  This is very important. It is a very useful feature and in the past I root my phone just for this. But it is not right to root just for this especially when root is difficult. Just vibration is enough.

5. Exclamations mark in WiFi icon if there is no internet despite being connected. (stock android in Nexus shows this).

6. Long press to go to relevant settings. (Well 4.3, 4.4 kitkat has this but now gone).

7. Call blocking- some of Xperia phones already have this. I don't want to install 3rd party app for this.

8. More customizations for messaging dialer apps.

9. Keyboard- give us optional number row. Want at least + sign second page or at least give us options to customize the position.

-UI redraw every time after I close any web browser, I checked my ram usage it still says 350+ mb free. Someone has recommanded me to use a memory locker, but this is Sony time that sony need to do on their end to locked the home launcher. This issue is far worse in lollipop than previous verison.

-Really need to get the miracast issue fixed as the MS wireless display still doesn't work. The device is the best in its class and I don't care if its not fully compliant with the specification for HDCP 2.2. Why should any customer care about this HDCP garbage and why don't samsung, google, htc or any people care but Sony. And the fact that pre 4.4.3 update it used to connect fine with any cheap miracast dongle tells you that Sony really have screwed up. After this many update and still not fix. One of their most advertise feature is a scam at this point.

-audio is completely broken, clearaudio+ doesn't do anything at all, xloud is missing too.

-1080p 60fps video recording is broken, does not actually record at 60fps. At the mean time,  they should also give us 4K video recording for all the Z1 owners, as phones with the same SoC and ram had also receive the same features tell you its not a hardware limitation. They own us that much for being the first supporters.

-Some of the motion control features should be on Z1 too, like double tap to wake screen smart stay etc.

Have to say the post purchase customer support for as a Z1 customer is horrible, every new new update brings either bring new features that doesn't work properly or breaks what used to work.

Hi Sony and everybody
In new android get screen shot and try to crop image...there is no icon to confirm cropping...just X and back...how this possible that sony got many steps back?!

You meant this button? You are not using other photo editor, are you?

If the button is not there try to clear data for the app. Settings/Apps/All/Photo Editor / Clear data

in kitkatt we dont need to use photo editor to crop...use small app for screen shot and you get my point

i don't have kitkat anymore and i don't know if it is the same  in lollipop version but if i use the small app to take a screenshot and i use the crop tool to crop the image , if i tap on the back button the image is automatically saved with the crop edit that i made... so no need for a confirm button after cropping..

This is how it is in lollipop. I don't remember in kit kat how it was because i don't use the mini apps..
