I recently downloaded the CPU-Z app for my Xperia which is an app that gives you quite a bit of information about your device
Including the ammount of total RAM (and I am mad to know that there is only 685 MB of RAM and it is 1 GB advertised)
Anyway the main problem I have right now is that suddenly the Accelerometer, Gyro and Magnetic Field (including compass) Sensors are not working... they show no value at all in the app and they do not work inside the Service Test app.
Only sensors that work are ambience light sensor and proximity.
This happened to me before twice while on ICS and I thought it was a software bug, since they came back to life after a reboot, but now I have rebooted twice (im on JB) and they still do not work.
I am about to do a repair with PCC. Any advice?
Regarding memory, you will find information about this here:

About the sensors that doesn't work properly, the repair via PCC would be my first advise as well. Give it a try and let me know the results.

Yeah I read the Memory post when I first join the forums... Anyway still does not explain why is the phone advertised as having 1GB of RAM memory and only showing a total memory of 685MB (Total as in used memory + free memory)
Anyway the memory thing does not annoy me so much because I am aiming for a 2GB RAM as next device....
NOW the sensors going crazy IS a big deal for me... I almost published the phone for sale the same day...
The problem is that "Repairing" via PCC actually did not solve the issue and I had to install everything again, though I have to say that PCC is very helpful on getting all your data back on the apps and phone...
After seeing that the problem persisted I gave up on it for a while, but then after a reboot suddenly it worked again briefly... and then nothing... (no screen rotation again)... another reboot, and then briefly working... and so on a couple of times more...
Finally it is working right now and has been since late yesterday, but I still don't know if its going to keep working or just die on me once again...
It bothers me because after having a bad experience with a Motorola for hardware and software quality I though Sony would be much better, and for the most part it IS, and I have been praising Sony phones recently and making a lot of my friends and family buy Sony smartphones or at least consider them... but for ONE day... this gave me second thoughts...
Anyway I think I will keep trusting Sony in the future and I am hoping the Honami rumors are true...
Thanks Sam for your help..
