some bugs i noticed

Ok, so I've been using Xperia E1 for a 2 months now and I noticed few annoying things. I understand it's a low budget phone but some basic things should work.

I have original software, phone is NOT rooted, software is KitKat 4.4.2 - 20.1.A.2.14.

I tried factory reset and phone repair few times but problems aren't gone.

So here is a list of bugs or I don't know how to call them, I would like to know if someone experienced any of these.

SD card:

- Tried few SD cards and this is what I noticed: If you set your camera to take photos on SD card then thumbnails stay on internal storage, I tried to delete it and copy folder to SD card but it wont create thumbnails on SD card, instead it is eating memory on internal storage, but i can live with that.

- If you have app on SD card and you make shortcut on homescreen...after you reboot phone shortcut will disappear. So in short, apps on sd card can't have shortcuts. I fixed this with nova launcher, it's temporary fix but shortcuts stay on homescreen.

Notifications:

- Notifications from 3rd party apps like facebook, messenger, viber, wapp are coming late 50% of time. Main problem is with wifi. It's better on 3G but still they sometimes come 10 min later, while notifications from google services like gmail come instantly. Even Viber calls are not working always.

- Other scenario is you wont get notification until you turn on your screen, but as soon as you turn off your screen, data is somehow blocked and notifications are late. 1 hour later, everything works normally even I didn't change anything on my phone. Stamina mode is off, wifi optimization is off, wifi sleep policy during sleep is set to always active, so those aren't causing this.

It could be RAM and how android manages apps, I went to settings > apps > active apps and saw alof of apps are not active, instead it says "Restarting" in background.

As I said, on 3G notifications works better and I get notification as soon as I receive message, which is the point of smartphone, right? I don't want to use 3G if I am home, it's dumb because wifi is free.

LED:

- It wont blink in 3rd party apps, it stays on until you clear notification. Missed calls, sms and email works great. Facebook, viber, wapp, messenger don't.

I tried some 3rd party apps to control led, but there isn't much you can customize, even if you set blink interval it will just stay on forever.

- Sometimes on whatsapp for example, if you receive more than one message, led will turn off even if you didnt touch your phone, but if you receive one message it works fine, not a major bug, but it's funny.

- Other scenario, you set led color to be white but it will be green until you turn on phone screen. It happens 50% of the time, not always.

- You know that illumination bar you have on the bottom of the phone, when you browse your gallery, well sometimes when both led notification and illumination bar work, as soon as led blinks it will turn off illumination bar, some kind of conflict between them.

- If you receive notification that makes phone LED blink, gmail, missed call etc... As long as led is blinking phone will remain active and prevent it from deep sleep. You can see it in battery usage > history. Screen is off, but phone is active until you remove notification.

Battery drain:

Only on wifi, "Android OS" is on the top, draining 3% battery per hour when phone is idle. Now I tried everything really, I did phone factory reset, didn't download any app, disabled internet in my router (it's connected to router but without DSL) battery drain is still there . Then I tried wakelock detector for PC, since phone doesn't need to be rooted for it.

rx_wakelock is causing this, it's a wifi thingy but i am not sure what is it exactly, alot of people are having problems with it. I guess it's something with the router, on 3G there are no rx_wakelocks. Temporary fix for this is to turn on wifi optimization in advanced settings but then notification issue is even worse.

I hope some of this things will be fixed in next update. If someone knows solution for any of these problems fell free to post it but I guess only custom rom or update can fix it. As I said before I would really want to know if someone have any of these problems.

Thats a log post, could you test a different sd card?

Notification issues with third party apps will be up to those appdevelopers to address

Led

Do you have stamina mode on?

If you have auto back up or auto upload that could explain it

- I've tried few SD cards, didn't help

- I know about 3rd party apps but they are from different developer so I doubt its their fault

- Stamina is always off, never used it actually

- Auto backup is off, google drive is disabled / uninstalled, I don't have any cloud app active.
