Solutions for water damaged Sony M4 Aqua

Hai Dudes I have bought an sony xperia M4 aqua dual last year as it was marketed as the water proof phone and able to dig in 1 meter for 30 min.As like others i was frightened to test in water and on a week before i just tried to take a selfie in underwater.and after 05 min my mobile was dead and it cant power on and so i just leave for 5 hours and kept in the rice bag for 18 hrs and still experience the same. so i visited the service centre and replied that it is not repairable and i can get the exchange offer of 20% discount for any sony brand.As actually i bought it for 22K and its value is around 4.5K, How can i manage.

Can some one suggest any remedy to repair the Xperia M4 aqua.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with your M4 Aqua.

All I can suggest is that you contact your Local support team and request a vacuum pressure test. This will determine if the waterproofing on your phone has failed or not.

If you have a vacuum chamber, sure, though this is a highly specialised and expensive tool. Also, any results that you get that aren't from the official repair centre will not be counted so it will need tested by your local support team regardless.
