Sola touchscreen stopped working

Hi, I'm experiencing problems with my 7 months old Xperia Sola. The touchscreen seems to be completely shot. I have tried factory-resetting it, and also flashing one of Sony's gingerbread OEM firmwares, but still the touchscreen would not work. I have also tried "sun-bathing" it, to no avail.

The mobile was bought on ebay back in October 2012 so it's still within warranty, and unfortunately there is no Sony Mobile representatives here in Malta (EU). What can I do to uphold the warranty, and get it fixed. Would like to have an answer from a Sony ufficial representative.

Thank you

Why would you "sun-bathe" a phone? I don't know who told you to do that but DON'T do that, next thing you know you will be placing your phone in an over or microwave to dry it out if you get it wet.

Thank you for the reply, but unfortunately the touchscreen is totally unusable, i.e. it doesn't respond to any type of input. Hence any of the diagnostics you mentioned, cannot even be performed.

What I actually need, is to know, which service centre (specifically in which country) I can get in touch with, to have my mobile repaired under the warranty.

you have to contact the customer service in the same country the phone was purchased.
