Hi,
my Xperia Sola stops working without any warnings. When it stops, there is nothing I can do to activate it, the phone does not react to any of the buttons, the screen is turned off, and removing the SIM and memory cards don't help either. When connected to a charger, the led does not indicate that the phone is charging. Yesterday, when that happened to me the last time, the led was blinking blue, like when there is a missed call or new SMS.
It is not a battery issue, since this happens when the battery is full.
It is not triggered by any user action. For example, when it happened yesterday, the phone was in my pocket, I noticed that it "passed out" when my SmartWatch indicated that the connection to the phone was lost.
The phone comes back to life after a certain while, yesterday it took ~3 hours.
My phone is running on GB v 6.0.B.3.184
What is the problem and how can it be fixed?
For me this is an extremely big problem, and if there is no solution found in soon time, I will replace it with a phone from another manufacturer.
Try updating to ICS with PCC, and a repair.
If that don't fix it, i'm afraid you'll have to go to sony support to get your phone repaired / replaced.

Usless. Sony don't give a damm anyway.
Let's see. If that is true, then I'll just get a phone from a different manufacturer and forget about Sony.
I don't want to upgrade to ICS, because the phone is MUCH SLOWER then.

I see that we do agree on that
Ok, plan B: can I remove the battery? I'm pretty sure that after such a reset the phone will boot and run fine.
do the magical reset : press power and volume (down or up, dunno) for 15 seconds. is the same as removing battery.
I tried that (with volume up), while the phone was dead. No success.
How about turning on the charger (not connecting to the phone)
Hold Vol Up
Connect USB
See if there's purple light
Release key
It should restart

I'm not sure what you mean. In normal operation, i.e. now, I cannot restart the phone following your instructions. Maybe I don't understand them so well, could you be more precise?
Oh... It's actually applies when your phone is turned off...
When your phone is off, do the above...
EDIT: Sorry, it's actually Vol Down followed by a Green light and it should reboot...
