Sola locks itself

Most of the times i try to unlock my phone, the screen flickers, then the lock screen shows up for about a second, then the screen turns black. when i try to unlock it again it happens again for at least a few times.i tried turning off the lock screen, but the same thing happens. it gets really annoying because i cant even answer the phone properly :smileyangry:. has anyone encountered such a problem?

Have you tried to update your phone with new software/ad or repair the phone software?

If not, please try to update/repair the phone with our program Sony PC Companion. You can download the program from the link below.

i tried updating the software but it did not work. I bought the phone with ginger bread, and it started happening after a few weeks, later i updated to ice cream sandwich newest update, but the problem is the same

Try a master reset...

Settings > Privacy > Restore Factory Settings > Format Storage > Accept the warning

Remember to do a backup of your data before starting the master reset...
