I'm a user of Xperia U which is still in the rovided warranty period. I got my set in a default android version 2.3.7 gingerbread.
I want to get my mobile get upgraded to android 4.0 with the upgrade 6.1.1.B.1.54 found through net.
The update center on my phone does not show my system to be up to date.
In regards of the same i went to the nearest Xperia Care to get it at Prashwa Electronics, Vadodara but they told me that the upgrade of Xperia U has not yet come.
So i tried to get it upgraded via my pc through Sony PC Companion, but it always gives me an alert stating that it requires a Windows 7 or lower version of Windows. I'm on Windows 8.
Please help me how to get my mobile upgraded to the latest version of android and seek upon why hasn't the latest upgrade of android not yet arrived at that store.
