Software update

My xperia C5 ultra dual show a notification ' unfortunately , software update has stopped' on the screen. But on setting i check for update, it shows, your software is uptodate.

Hi DrBari,

The error message is simply advising that the application is not working correct and crashing.

You would be best to try clearing the apps data.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Software Update >  Clear Data

Let us know how you get on.

I do it. But i think the software is not still working. Whats the next step? Is it solvable?

You could try to update the phone software via PC Companion instead. Download it and install on your computer then follow the instructions for update.
