Unable to update software on z1 using pc companion it gives n error

Use sony update service:

Update service is also not getting installed it fails after 20 mb of download

Do you have a stable internet connection?Try on a friends computer maybe.

I do have a stable net connection yet it fails initially I had updated my software version using pc companion but now it's not letting me

It could be a temporary problem,maybe a reinstall of the PCC or maybe a restart of your computer could help.
