software update using pc companion does not work in win8

i cannot use win8 pc companion to update my Xperia P.

It shows me error use win7 or below versions to update.

Also as an alternative i checked the Update service software from Sony. But in this myphone Xperia P is not listed only.

Let me know if there are any other option to update with win 8

It seems there are compatibility problems between PCC and W8.As for the sony update service,many users have this issue with the app not showing older models.But my version does show all the models.

Yes,and not on mine only.I know there seems to be issues on displaying all the models,but I cannot understand why on mine is ok.

mine is 2.13.14

or any otheer settings which i have missed....
