I am using the sony xperia tipo single sim model. I am facing the echo problem where the listener could hear his or her own voice when I use this phone. I thought of updating the system software to check if it could solve this echo issue.
When I try to update the software to 11.0.A.4.27 from my current version of 11.0.A.4.22 using the sony companion using my windows 8 pc, my mobile is getting switched off. I am getting the message in the pc companion to disconnect and reconnect the device by pressing "volume key" down.
I am doing the same and inspite of that the device could not be detected by windows and so the update coould not be completed.
I contacted sony support person and they told me to use sony update software. That is not even detecting my mobile phone through the USB.
Kindly let me know what should be done for this issue.
