Software update notification is of the same version already running

My XPERIA SP is showing a notification of an avalable system update, but the version shown on the notification is the same version that I'm already running, and it tells that I need a computer to install the update. (version 12.0.A.1.257)

When I connect to the PC Companion it is unable to connect to the Sony servers.

The phone is actually working without any problems or issues, but I want to know about this possible update.

If you live in Brazil, I am pretty sure you will be stuck at this version for a long time. Sony has no developers in the country working on updates, so they will be the last one.

I think they released this fake update, just to fool everyone. I receveid mine thinking it was the 12.0.A.2.254 update.

Of course it does aply to a lot of countries that Sony think it not their priority.

Yeah, I'm from Brazil.

I hope that they start to give more atention to us.

I know brazilians are Samsung fans, but for me, the XPERIA phones are much better and, if Sony wants to, they can easily increase their share in the market.
