So called WATER DAMAGE

Hello everyone, I too would like to share my very bad experience with SONY XPERIA, I bought this phone as a Christmas present for my fiance, purchased from Galaxy Mahebourg Mauritius at a hefty price tag of 28000.00 Rupee's, I bought the phone as it was considered by the sales staff to be the best on the market, and the very fact it was suppost to be WATERPROOF, Hugh.!

The purchase date was 4th November 2013, within 2 days of purchase I noticed that the phone was not charging as it should, I duly returned the phone to Galaxy, whereby I was told that the phone had a faulty charging cable, they exchanged the cable and politly told me that the cable was considered to be an accessory, not under gaurantee, however! this was not the cause of the problem, again I noticed the phone was not charging fully, so I returned the phone again to Galaxy, they then told me the charging pin was broken and accused me that I had misuesd the phone and must pay another 1800.00 Rupee's for repair, I refused to pay this as it was clear to me that the phone had a fault befotre I purcheased it, after much ado with the staff and Galaxy HQ, They agreed to send it to SONY for a diagnostic, they kept the phone until March 2014 and informed me that it was not a broken charging pin and that it was a fault with the charging cable again.. Hugh!!

I was not happy with their service and demanded my money back, they refused and told me that it was not their policy to refund, the phone was not repaired to a standard you would expect, so they agreed again to send it back to SONY, after yet another month, they informed me that the telephone had come into contact with water and that its warranty is now VOID.

Galaxy and SONY had the telephone in their possesion for 90% of the time (including my hard eaned cash) during its time in my possesion the phone never came into contact with water.. A VERY EASY WAY OUT FOR GALAXY & SONY, so now I'm left with a useless phone and a dissapointed fiance, plus 28000.00 Rupees out of pocket.

NEVER EVER shall I buy a product from SONY, and NEVER EVER will I shop at GALAXY again..

I bought a Sony Xperia V. The phone's screen is considered more yellowish than the other handsets. But I thought how bad could it be. So I bought one. I had seen a friend's Sony Xperia V's screen and for me a little yellow was okay. But then after buying one locally in Pakistan I soon found out that the screen of the Xperia V's being sold here were MORE yellow. Now I was 100 percent sure that Sony Customer care won't help me out regarding this and they didn't when I contacted them. Anyways now the screen is pure yellow. Although I am using an app to make it whiter but the app constantly shuts off. And to make matters worst Sony didn't give us White balance even though I was hoping for them to give us that. Now I am stuck with a 32000 Rupee phone with a yellow screen. Kudos to Sony!

Best of luck with your phone bro.
