Snapchat camera freezes

Snapchat freezes when I am taking a video in dark conditions or when I pan the camera too quickly. If I take a video slowly and steadily in a bright environment then it is okay. Otherwise the app will just freeze and the only way to get it working again is by restarting the phone. Anyone having the same issue? I've been through several updates on the app but it seems all the updates never fixed the problem so maybe I thought it is the phone's problem? Thanks.

Could you fix it? I have the same issue with my M5 and i dont know how to fix it

So far the problem still isn't fixed despite snapchat releasing a few updates already. I feel like this problem is somehow exclusive to mediatek processors. I heard the c5 has the same issue too and now you mention the m5 as well which uses mediatek.

Hey guys! There is a solution. Update to android 5.1 that was recently released by Sony. It worked for me. I can now take videos!

I arrived the Android update , I still do not get me greetings from peru

The model I'm using is E5333. I got the update last week. I'm not sure when your country Peru will get the update.

You have to either contact your carrier/network to request the code or buy it online, Sony doesn't provide such codes
