My phone sends sms frequently to a non-existant phone number with the text "STATUS:: dt=5;pv=01" and usually when this happens random applications force-close or stop working properly. Sometimes even the network connection is lost for short time.
I have reset the phone but it doesnt help. I have scanned it and it doesnt find any malicious threats.
Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?
Does the same happen in safe mode?

that's probably an app acting up
repair your phone with SUS or PCC and do NOT install any apps, check if you get the same issue, if you don't then add app by app, and when you do so, double check each app's permisons
Yeah, I figure its probably some app doing this...I just want to fix it.
However did try repairing my phone with PCC and the same thing happened again, but I did also install the same apps I had before.
Anyway, thanks...I'll try doing it again without installing anything
