Need help,
My sms vibrate notification is not working even my vibrate notification in both sound setting and sms is turned on
It only vibrates when the sound if off, but the setting in the vibrate is set to 'always'
On call, it always vibrate, the only problem is when receiving an sms when the sound is on.
turn off your phone -> take the battery out -> press and hold the power button for 5 seconds -> put the battery back on -> turn it on and check again
if not
then go to settings -> privacy -> settings reset
(this will delete passwords and other settings)

if that doesn't solve the issue then
backup everything and then repair your phone with Update Service (SEUS)

An easier way to install the Backup & Restore app
download the apk on your computer, send it to yourself through email, make sure you send it to your Gmail
now on your phone
go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources
wait for the email, once you get the email, open it, and instead of downloading the attachment it will allow you to install it, voila, done

I forgot to ask, are you using
1) task killer?
or
2) antivirus (mcafee)?
or
3) juice/battery defender?
if you are, that might be the cause of the issues, they cause more harm that they help, remember you don't need an antivirus

No luck on the first step.
Im using avg pro antivirus, missed call and audio manager(but deleted since I thought this was the app causing the problem)
it won't hurt to repair your phone, btw go to settings -> about phone
