SMS Lenght!!!

Hi guys, when I am sending a SMS, after 45 or 50 characters, it says two messages, suddenly, 3 messages...do you know why? Before the ICS upgrade I used to send SMS 140 characters and it was only one SMS, and now I have to pay 3, thanks in advance!

default sms app in GB 2.3.7 in Xperia S dont have gsm sms type or smth like that (not using special signs) saddly it was in ARC with 2.3.4 dont know how it look in ICS but it should be option in "language and keyboard"

the other way is to use sms app from market (go sms pro or handcent sms) and search in setteing to use regional type sms or smht like that

well, it seems that the problem is when I use words with "tilde", it takes like 6 or 7 extra spaces, maybe is for the regional configuration but I dont know how to change it.

In Spanish there are a lot of words with "tilde"and the keyboard puts them automatically, so I hope Sony will correct them, thanks all you guys
