sms delete prob

Well, I use Sony phones 4ever and most times thing work fine. Now I own a Xperia e, a budget phone and so far ok, but there are a few issues pretty akward. For example, I only can delete all or none sms for a specific contact. I havn't figured out how to just delete one sms and keep the rest. Is there a solution to handle it or if Sony doesn't provide such a function what app is suitable to handle sms more useful. I'm using the phone in Europe, thx for any feedback upfront

Open the messaging app > open the conversation > press and hold the sms/mms that you want to delete > press and hold for a second or so > delete
